Becker Bulldogs 63, Hopkins Royals 54: Defending 3A champion Becker came to H-Town with one thing on their mind. Win! 4A power Hopkins started the game on fire and led 17-6 with 10:51 remaining in the first half. But, Becker would chip away at the lead and close the half down by only 7 points, 32-25.

In the 2nd half , Becker came out with a sense of urgency with Shelly Stemper and Gophers recruit Brianna Mastey leading the way. Becker finally took the lead after Hopkins' Superstar Caitlin Rowland fouled out with 3:12 remaining in the game. Hopkins received a technical foul for not substituting a player within 15 seconds, after Rowland fouled out, a new rule.

The difference in the game came down to the charity stripe. Becker attempted 35 free throws and made 24. Hopkins got to the line only 7 times and made 4.
#41 Brianna Mastey, Becker
Becker went on to win 63-54. Brianna Mastey led the way for Becker with 28 points and 11 rebounds. Reyan Robinson and play-maker Shelly Stemper had 16 points each. Stephanie Sension paced Hopkins with 16, Caitlin Rowland and Brianna Williams added 12 points each, Jenna Lillemoe chipped in with 9.
