PLAYER PROFILE: Apiew Ojulu didn't need to score a lot of points last season for her presence to be felt. The Lakeville North post player contributed the old fashion way, with hustle, work ethic, defense, determination, and attitude. The 6'2" intimidator played a major role in Lakeville North's 32-0 State Championship in 2010. Ojulu already has a division one body and has no problem getting up and down the court at a brutal pace. She has already mastered the art of the intangibles, like setting hard screens, diving for loose balls, converting clutch put-backs, intimidating and owning the paint. The up-side for Ojulu is sky high. Once she gets a little more seasoning and polishing on the offensive end, her stock as a big-time player will rise even more.
TO WORK ON : Will need to add two or three low post go-to-moves.
