PLAYER PROFILE: You can’t teach height. You’re born with it. At 6 7”, Amber Dvorak has both the height and the determination to succeed. The Coachable Dvorak is putting in the necessary work to become a dominant post player in Minnesota. Right now she is a solid player. By this time next year, Dvorak will dominate the paint. The University of Minnesota and Pam Borton were very smart to offer her a scholarship and Dvorak was even smarter to accept. Look for Dvorak to put in an off-season work out that will help catapult her to elite status. Currently, Dvorak can run the floor and has solid footwork in the paint. That’s a good foundation to becoming a great basketball player.
