HEIGHT: 5-9 POSITION: Guard GRADUATION: 2013 HIGH SCHOOL TEAM: Braham AAU TEAM: North Tartan NBA/WNBA COMPARISON: Dwyane Wade COLLEGE COMMITMENT: None PLAYER PROFILE: Feisty. Aggressive. Fearless. Rebecca Dahlman knows how to play the game. The Braham High School superstar has an explosive first step, with the ability to finish with contact. This summer while playing for her club team North Tartan Elite, Dahlman added an accurate 3-point jumper to her already full tool box. Dahlman's ability to create off the dribble makes her a complete player. She is also a blue collar baller who is not afraid to mix-it-up. Her cuts are extremely hard and sharp, and her screening and passing are also very good. Extremely physical and compact, the 5'9" guard is also a first class lock down defender. Her on-the-ball defense doesn't get any better. Did I mention, Dahlman (over 2,800 points ) is on pace to shatter the state's all-time scoring record of 3,888, held by former Minneapolis South superstar Tayler Hill? As a sophomore (2010-2011 season), Dahlman averaged 29.6 points last season at Braham High School and scored over 900 total points for the year. Dahlman loves to play with contact and earns a living at the charity stripe. She is a fierce competitor who plays with fire, grit and determination. But now, her game is fine tuned with experience, poise and court savvy. Dahlman will perhaps go down as one of the all-time greats in Minnesota high school basketball history. TO WORK ON : Backcourt ball handling - bringing up the ball efficiently while being pressured. LINKS: 2011 AAU Summer Jam
