PLAYER PROFILE: 5/11/2010: Banham is a tremendous talent with outstanding handles, exceptional court vision, and a very high basketball I.Q. This point guard has made significant strides and has established herself as one of the best point guards in the country. Banham has earned a reputation as a big-time baller. This elite guard plays with supreme confidence. She is strong and fast enough to make powerful blow-by-moves to the rack. Yet Banham has the finesse game to shoot the floaters and runners, that all great point guards have in their repertoire. Her long range jumper is silk. Banham's game is Big-10 ready. She has verballed the University of Minnesota.
TO WORK ON : Banham needs to work on not playing down to her competition and setting the tone in every game.
8/12/2007: A silky smooth point guard with an excellent text book jumper. Banham shoots a jumper, airborne while releasing the shot. She also shoots the traditional long- range outside shot. As an 8th grader last year, Banham played well for Lakeville North. She help lead Lakeville North to the state tournament at Target Center. Banham already has the pull-up jumper from the elbows down pat. Banham has command of the guard position. She is highly-skilled at the point-guard and shooting-guard position. The Sky is the limit for Banham.
